Walking in Tyson's Corner

I heard this story on NPR and now I am actually experiencing Tyson's Corner, VA. A "city for cars" is clearly the right moniker though it was difficult to get here even in a car. The road network appears by design to make you drive in circles and was confusing, though I could have prepared better. I'm planning to have dinner at the restaurant with the fewest US chain outlets. The hotel instructions clearly say to drive (I can see the mall from the hotel window) but I am going to test my car-dodging skills and patience and walk.
